Cookie Policy

What Cookies Are?

Cookies are small text files stored on a computer, tablet or mobile device when a person visits a website. Similar technologies may also be used to store or access information on a device.

Cookies may support security, remember choices, enable website functionality, measure website use or support embedded third-party content.

Wix places essential cookies required for security, network management, consent management and core website functionality, and analytics cookies (which require consent) help us understand how visitors use the website, identify popular pages and improve website performance.

We use Wix’s cookie-consent functionality, supported by Usercentrics, to identify cookies, record preferences and prevent supported non-essential technologies from loading before consent.

The detailed cookie list available through the cookie-preference panel should be treated as the current record of cookies detected on the website. It identifies the provider, purpose, category and duration of each cookie.

Because website technologies and providers may change, this list may be updated from time to time.

Embedded Content

Our website may include content provided by trusted third-party services, including:

  • Google Analytics

  • Google Maps

  • YouTube

  • Facebook

  • Instagram

These services may collect information independently in accordance with their own privacy policies.

  • information generated for website security, fraud prevention and error monitoring.

Please do not include unnecessary medical, financial or other sensitive information in the general contact form. When registration for activities is introduced, we may also collect information about participating children and their parents or guardians.

Fields marked with asterisk (*) are mandatory minimum set of information we need to support and respond to your query.

Please note that children should not submit registration requests directly - we can only engage with parent/guardian.

How We Use Personal Information

Responding to enquiries

We use names, contact details and enquiry content to read, manage and respond to messages submitted through the website or sent by email. The information you provide us with may be shared internally within the organisation and volunteers to help respond to your query. No automated decisions are made based on the information you provide. If you submit information via a form, it may be accessible by Wix which hosts and supports our website.

Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in communicating with people interested in our activities and, where an enquiry concerns potential participation or another arrangement, taking steps at the person’s request before entering into that arrangement.

Operating and protecting the website

We use limited technical information to operate the website, maintain security, detect misuse, troubleshoot faults and preserve the reliability of our services.

Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in maintaining a secure and functional website and, where strictly necessary cookies are used, providing the website service requested by the visitor.

Website analytics

Where analytics are enabled, we may use information about website visits to understand how the website is used and improve its content and performance.

Non-essential analytics technologies will not be activated until the visitor has provided the required consent.

Lawful basis: consent.

Legal and governance obligations

We may process or retain information where necessary to comply with company law, data-protection law, safeguarding obligations, legal claims, regulatory requirements or lawful requests from public authorities.

Lawful basis: compliance with a legal obligation and, where applicable, our legitimate interests in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

Information Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal, governance, safeguarding and insurance requirements.

Unless a longer period is necessary because of an ongoing matter or legal requirement, our current website-related retention approach is:

  • general contact-form enquiries: up to 3 years after the enquiry is closed;

  • routine email correspondence: up to 5 years after the matter is closed;

  • unresolved complaints, disputes or legal matters: for the duration of the matter and the applicable limitation period;

  • cookie-consent records: for the period maintained by our consent-management provider and as reasonably necessary to demonstrate consent;

  • security and technical logs: for the period reasonably required for security, troubleshooting and fraud prevention.

Registration, safeguarding, incident, financial and participant records may be subject to different retention periods. Those periods will be explained in the relevant notices or organisational policies.
